The approach, in practice

The common failure in asset tracking is designing for the coverage map rather than for the gaps in it. A tracker that reports only when it can is a tracker that goes quiet exactly where the questions get asked. Ours record continuously and reconcile on reconnection, so a journey through a dead zone is still a complete journey.
