Real Estate
Most buildings are asked to reduce energy cost with no measurement to act on. We put the metering, access and environmental data of a whole portfolio into one operating picture — the platform we call PropAxis.
What makes this sector hard
Every one of these has cost somebody a programme. They are the questions we ask first, before any architecture is proposed.
- Mixed-vintage plant with no common protocol and no appetite for a rip-out
- Energy targets set against a baseline nobody actually measured
- Access, safety and comfort systems each with a separate vendor portal
- Portfolio reporting assembled by hand from a dozen monthly spreadsheets
- Tenant comfort complaints with no data to arbitrate them
- An energy baseline that is measured, so a reduction claim can be defended
- One operating view across sites, replacing a portal per vendor
- Comfort complaints answered from data rather than negotiated
What we build for real estate
The approach, in practice
Building intelligence usually arrives as a replacement programme nobody funded. PropAxis was built the other way round: bridge the plant that is already installed, measure it honestly, and let the retrofit case be made from the resulting data. The first month of a deployment is normally spent proving that the assumed baseline was wrong.
