E-Mobility & Smart Energy
Electromobility is a thermal and compliance problem wearing an electronics costume. We design battery, charge and drive electronics with the certification route agreed before the first prototype exists.
What makes this sector hard
Every one of these has cost somebody a programme. They are the questions we ask first, before any architecture is proposed.
- High-voltage isolation, creepage and clearance decided at layout, not at test
- Thermal headroom that has to hold at 45 °C ambient in an Indian summer
- Homologation and AIS conformance on a fixed launch date
- Charging infrastructure deployed where grid supply is unreliable
- Battery state-of-health estimation accurate enough to underwrite a warranty
- A certification route costed and scheduled before the design is committed
- Thermal and isolation margin demonstrated by test rather than assumed
- Charging, pack and vehicle telemetry available in a single operating view
What we build for e-mobility & smart energy
The approach, in practice
The electrification programmes that slip do so for predictable reasons: an isolation decision revisited after layout, a thermal margin discovered at type approval, a battery model that cannot support the warranty claim. We front-load those three, in writing, and treat the rest of the programme as execution against a specification that has already survived scrutiny.
